The "Knowledge Break" initiative celebrated its tenth anniversary since its founding. It has managed to establish a modern model for Arabic reading clubs by organizing approximately 1,800 seminars discussing over 1,500 books, and hosting more than 350 writers and thinkers, with the participation of tens of thousands of readers. The initiative began as a personal dialogue session before expanding to include various emirates of the country as well as a number of Arab and foreign countries. Its focus has been on Emirati literature and on developing the capacities of writers and professionals in the knowledge field, relying on volunteer work and embracing social responsibility. The initiative serves its goals of promoting reading culture and fostering dialogue, continuing to be an influential and sustainable knowledge source that supports intellectual and social growth.
