Music critic Mahmoud Fawzi El-Sayed confirmed that artist Rami Sabry did not plagiarize the arrangement of the song "Baba" by Amr Diab. Instead, the similarity lies in the rhythmic pattern used, which is the authentic Egyptian "Malfouf" rhythm that has been around for many years. He explained that the arrangements of both songs rely on the same beat but with different details: Adel Hakki incorporated folkloric elements into "Baba," whereas Rami Sabry's song "Falta" simply used the same rhythm without any folkloric additions. The audience's perception of similarity is due to the rarity of using this rhythm nowadays.
