NASA's robotic effort to save telescope
NASA is planning to launch a robotic mission to save its old telescope, "Swift," which faces the risk of burning up in the atmosphere after approaching Earth. The mission involves using a robot specially designed to locate the telescope, approach it, and lift it to a higher orbit to extend its operational life for several additional years. This is considered an unprecedented step and a move toward developing spacecraft management technologies for the future.
