Over 137,000 Detained for Residency Violations
During a one-week period, the relevant authorities in the Kingdom apprehended 14,970 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations. Among them, 7,437 violated the residency system; 3,991 violated the border security regulations; and 3,542 violated the labor laws. Additionally, 1,626 individuals attempted to cross the borders illegally, of whom 62% were Ethiopians and 37% Yemenis.
