Saudi Arabia and Egypt have agreed to a treaty exempting holders of diplomatic and special passports from short-term residence visa requirements between both countries, aiming to enhance cooperation and facilitate travel. This decision was made during a Cabinet session chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who emphasized the importance of protecting national security from terrorist attacks and confirmed that the Kingdom would respond firmly to any hostile acts in accordance with international law. The Council also highlighted the necessity for Iraq to prevent its territory from being used for attacks, commending the international positions condemning assaults on oil facilities and commercial ships, while reaffirming the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to defending its national interests.
