Saudi Arabia targets Iran-supported groups in Iraq

Saudi Arabia launched targeted strikes against sites belonging to Iran-backed militias in Iraq, following their attack on oil facilities within the kingdom. This came after intercepting and destroying several drones that attempted to target oil facilities in Al-Sharqiya and Riyadh, with the militias carrying out the attacks from Iraqi territory. The operation was coordinated with the U.S. Central Command, aiming to counter the threats while the kingdom is keen to avoid escalation, reaffirming its right to respond to any aggression.
