The Federal Reintroduces Market Uncertainty

Reports and analyses indicate that the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate decision is currently contingent on the absence of clear signals from the economy, with probabilities evenly balanced between holding steady and raising rates. The market no longer relies on the Fed's previous guidance, which helped interpret economic data. This comes amid divisions within the central bank regarding the appropriate policy approach, as investors closely monitor economic indicators to assess the likelihood of policy changes in the future. Consequently, it remains uncertain whether the Fed will increase rates or keep them unchanged at the upcoming meeting.
