Gold prices in Egypt experienced an increase at the start of Thursday's trading, amid ongoing gains in the global market where the price of an ounce reached its highest level since June 18. The price of a gram of 21-karat gold, the most popular variety, was approximately 5,960 Egyptian pounds for sale and 5,900 pounds for purchase. The rise was supported by declining US Treasury bond yields and a weak dollar, which enhanced gold's appeal to investors, with the metal reaching its highest level in seven weeks. Additionally, the price of a gold pound was about 47,680 Egyptian pounds for sale.
