Hungary's nuclear plant output reaches 75 percent
The nuclear power plant in Paks, Hungary, increased its output to 1,422 megawatts compared to 1,100 megawatts yesterday, with three of its four reactors currently operational. The government expects the plant to return to its full capacity of 2,000 megawatts by the day after tomorrow, Wednesday. The site, which accounts for 40% of the country's electricity, had dropped to its lowest levels last month due to decreased water levels in the Danube River, which led to the shutdown of three reactors.
