Nepal Flood Deaths Reach 157

The intense floods that struck Nepal, especially in the border areas with China, resulted in the deaths of 157 people. Additionally, 384 tourists are reported missing, including citizens from the United States, Britain, Malaysia, and India. There have also been hundreds of injuries, and many foreign workers involved in hydropower projects are unaccounted for. Heavy rains caused the Bhotekoshi River to flood, leading to the destruction of villages, roads, and power generation projects. Authorities are now seeking assistance from India and China to rescue those stranded.
