Trump: Venezuelan Oil to Boost US Reserves

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States will soon begin filling its strategic oil reserve using Venezuelan crude oil, following an unprecedented American campaign to control five of Venezuela's oil reserves. An agreement has been approved that grants the United States control over 65 billion barrels of oil through the development of 17 strategic fields in cooperation with the private sector, with investments exceeding $100 billion, which will bring more than $209 billion in taxes to Venezuela.
