Al-Arabi National plans dollar sukuk issuance

Al Ahli National Bank intends to issue additional Tier 1 capital sukuk in US dollars to strengthen its capital base. The sukuk will be offered to qualified investors inside and outside Saudi Arabia, following the determination of the offering size and terms in accordance with market conditions and regulatory approval, with further announcement to follow. This announcement comes amid the bank's engagement in other financing procedures. The bank achieved an increase in its net income for the second quarter, reaching 1.42 billion SAR, with dividends distributed amounting to 1.29 billion SAR.
