August heat causes Alexandria's empty beaches

A weather forecaster told "Al Arabiya.net" about the phenomenon of the "August Heatwave," which is considered a long-lasting hot spell that occurs in August. He confirmed that this phenomenon repeats seasonally due to rising temperatures linked to climate change. He explained that the "August Heatwave" usually begins at the start of the month and continues until late in it, with a noticeable rise in temperatures that may cause drought and water shortages. However, it is expected to end with the start of autumn in the second half of September. He noted that forecasts indicate a gradual decrease in temperatures after this wave ends.
