Dubai revisits its gaming history
The "Films and Electronic Games Forum" in Dubai showcases the historical development of these industries, from their humble beginnings to their current prominence in 2026. The forum emphasizes reviving the memories of generations by displaying classic gaming consoles, vintage televisions, and scenes from Emirati screen content. It also offers interactive experiences such as racing game simulations and photo booths for taking pictures. The event highlights the industry's shift from mere entertainment to becoming essential creative and economic sectors, with a focus on Dubai's support for this growth through the establishment of a dedicated office aimed at developing both industries as part of its future-focused strategy.
