Energy Agency speeds up oil and diesel releases
The International Energy Agency announced the acceleration of the release of oil and diesel stocks, as it seeks to reduce high fuel prices resulting from supply disruptions caused by the war with Iran and Ukraine. This move is expected to bring an additional approximately 100 million barrels to the markets, following the G7 group's agreement to release 100 million barrels of crude and diesel. This comes as part of efforts to address supply shortages and rising prices, with plans to be reviewed during a Board of Directors meeting next week.
