Trump rally disrupted in Texas
U.S. President Donald Trump faced widespread protests during a campaign rally in San Antonio, Texas, where demonstrators interrupted his speech at least six times and gathered to prevent him from speaking. The protests heightened tensions, reflecting the challenges the Republican Party faces in Texas, despite the state being considered a stronghold for the party, with Trump winning there in 2024 by a 14-point margin. The visit aims to support the party's Senate candidate, Ken Paxton, amid concerns of declining support due to lower approval ratings and rising fuel prices ahead of the midterm elections scheduled for next month.
