The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched its annual National Blood Donation Campaign for 2026, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who donated blood to promote a culture of voluntary giving. The campaign focuses on increasing community awareness and transforming blood donation from a seasonal initiative into a sustainable practice. In 2025, over 900,000 donors participated, making a significant impact in supporting patients' needs and meeting the demand for blood and its components, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to improve health and quality of life.
