Red Carpet Plan for Dubai
Dubai’s General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs plans to expand the “Red Carpet” system to all airports in the emirate in phases, subject to technical and operational readiness and security requirements. The system allows eligible travelers to complete immigration procedures while on the move in 3.4 seconds, without stopping or presenting documents. By the end of the third quarter of 2026, it had been used by 1,311,598 travelers, while its digital content had received around 4 billion views.
