Egyptian forward Mustafa Mohamed will miss the start of Nantes' preparations for the new season, as the French team plays in Ligue 2 after being relegated from Ligue 1 last season. The new coach, Michel Der Zakarian, has not yet held any sessions with Mustafa, and his future at the club remains uncertain, especially since his contract expires at the end of next season. Mustafa played in 24 matches last season, scoring 4 goals after he officially joined Nantes from Galatasaray.
