Amr Mahmoud Yassin on LGBT flag controversy

Screenwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin commented on the controversy surrounding the display of LGBTQ flags during the 2026 World Cup matches held in the United States. He confirmed that such displays are permitted in the country and stadiums according to FIFA regulations, and he does not care about what happens inside the stands. What matters to him is the absence of symbolic messages or slogans on the field or on screens, and he emphasized that Egyptian players and the national team are not forced to participate in such displays.
