Meteorology Department announces Friday's weather and top temperatures

The General Meteorological Authority predicts that the weather in the country on Friday, June 26, 2026, will be a mild summer day in the morning, turning hot and humid during the day. The hottest temperatures are expected in the Upper Egypt regions, reaching up to 42 degrees in Qena. The temperatures will be lower along the northern coasts, where Alexandria will record 30 degrees. The Meteorological Authority advises avoiding direct exposure to the sun during peak hours, drinking plenty of water, and wearing light-colored cotton clothing to protect against high temperatures.
