The Imam Al-Busiri Mosque in Alexandria is one of the oldest mosques, with its history marked by architectural masterpieces including antique marble water fountains related to ablution traditions, featuring Andalusian-style decorations. It is noted that the mosque consists of two squares surrounded by arcades and a fountain in the courtyard, and it contains the tomb of Imam Al-Busiri, the famous poet known for praising the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and renowned for his poem "Al-Burda" (The Mantle). In recent years, the mosque has undergone renovations and development, remaining a historic landmark that connects traditional designs with the spiritual aspect.
