Gharbia School Coordination for 2026
The Western Governorate expects a decrease in the minimum admission score for general secondary education in 2026 compared to last year. This is due to a decline in the success rate in the preparatory certificate this year, which dropped to 76.33% from 83.77% the previous year. The announcement of the acceptance coordination is approaching, following a review of capacity and school availability. The coordination criteria will be based on factors such as success rates, the number of students, and the group of students achieving high scores. Additionally, expanding technical and applied technology schools is helping to reduce pressure on general secondary schools. The governorate will officially announce the minimum admission score within the upcoming weeks after completing the count of student numbers and reviewing capacity.
