Food safety campaigns ramp up on North Coast
The National Food Safety Authority has carried out an extensive monitoring campaign in the Marina area of the North Coast in preparation for the summer season. The campaign targeted hotels and restaurants to ensure their compliance with food safety standards. It resulted in the seizure and disposal of quantities of unsafe products, and legal action was taken against non-compliant establishments, with the aim of protecting consumer health and enhancing the quality of tourist services.
