Bakery License Requirements for 2026
The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade has set 14 conditions for obtaining a license to establish a local bakery operating with 82% extraction flour. These include technical, structural, and health requirements to ensure product quality and operational safety. The bakery must have a minimum area of 65 square meters and a building constructed from reinforced concrete with a height of at least 4 meters, along with proper water, electricity, and sewage systems. Additionally, the use of diesel or natural gas to operate the ovens is mandatory, while the use of kerosene must be discontinued. Ventilation and proper airflow systems must be installed, and compliance with industrial safety standards is required, such as providing fire extinguishers, maintaining a sensitive weighing scale, and designating a display area for the bread.
