Lake Authority progresses on water body plans
The Lake Protection and Development Agency and the Fish Wealth Authority continue implementing a plan to develop Egypt's water bodies. This includes releasing approximately 5.5 million fry units of different species such as tilapia and mullet in various governorates, with the aim of boosting fish stocks, achieving ecological balance, and increasing fish production. This comes in accordance with the directives of the political leadership to support natural resources and food security, relying on high-quality fry produced by the agency's hatcheries.
