Local ministers conduct inspections in Matrouh and Cairo
The Ministry of Local Development and the Environment, headed by Dr. Manal Awwad, carried out surprise inspection campaigns in June in the Governorates of Matrouh and Cairo, with the goal of enforcing administrative discipline and improving services. The campaigns resulted in the stopping of 50 illegal building permits, the annulment of 8 illegal reconciliation forms, and the referral of responsible officials to the competent prosecution. Additionally, the campaigns addressed citizens' transactions, enhanced the sanitation system, and maintained infrastructure. The minister emphasized the continuation of these campaigns to ensure the enforcement of legal measures against violations and to achieve quality services for citizens.
