Al Cairo News: Calm in South Lebanon Amid Dispute
Southern Lebanon is experiencing a cautious calm after the announcement of the framework agreement, which stipulates the withdrawal of the Israeli army from two areas west of the Litani River. Meanwhile, political and popular divisions are intensifying, with supporters viewing it as a step forward, and opponents, especially Hezbollah, objecting to the agreement. It is worth noting that concerns about a potential escalation remain, given Israel's control over more than 70 towns in the south.
