June 30 | 12 Years of Medical and Strategic Facilities
Over the course of 12 years since the June 30, 2013 revolution, Egypt's healthcare sector has experienced a significant transformation through investments exceeding one trillion Egyptian pounds. More than 1,255 projects have been implemented, valued at over 222 billion Egyptian pounds. New hospitals and health units have been developed and constructed, including modern facilities such as Boulaq Dakrour and Tomsata hospitals. Additionally, the Medical City in Ain Sokhna has been established, offering 4,200 beds. Strategic stockpile systems for medicines and medical supplies have also been created to support pharmaceutical security. The efforts are focused on improving the quality and accessibility of medical services for citizens, in line with Egypt's 2030 plan to develop an integrated healthcare system.
