FIFA announces historic prize for 2026 World Cup champion

The International Football Association (FIFA) has decided to present an exceptional gold ring to the players of the winning team of the 2026 World Cup, marking a historic first in the tournament's history. The players will receive 30 rings, one side of which features the World Cup logo, while the other side highlights the winning team's identity. This will take place after the final match between Argentina and Spain on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in the United States. This initiative from FIFA aims to add a celebratory touch and a special memory, with temporary rings being distributed to team captains and coaches before producing the final personalized versions tailored to individual sizes.
