Steel prices in the Egyptian markets have stabilized today, Friday, July 17, 2026, after experiencing a decline earlier this month. The price decrease ranges between 1,500 and 2,500 Egyptian pounds per ton compared to May and June. The price of Ezz Steel stands at 39,850 pounds per ton, ex-factory, with variations across different companies’ products. For example, Beshay Steel is priced at 39,200 pounds, Suez Steel at 38,950 pounds, and El Gohary at 38,200 pounds. These prices follow a notable drop in value and cover all major specifications, including a 14% Value Added Tax (VAT).
