Today, the gold price in Egypt recorded 6,628 pounds per gram for the 24-karat alloy, influenced by the performance of the ounce in the global stock exchange, fluctuations in the US dollar exchange rate, and expectations regarding US monetary policy. Silver prices also declined by 0.5%, reaching $55.22 per ounce. Additionally, other precious metals such as platinum and palladium experienced increases but still faced weekly losses. The continued strength of the dollar and rising US Treasury yields are contributing to decreased demand for gold.
