Beni Suef Experiences Wheat Supply Increase of 50,000 Tons

The Beni Suef Governorate has seen a notable increase in wheat deliveries during this harvest season, reaching over 352,000 tons as of July 15. This is out of a cultivated area totaling 116,381 feddans, reflecting an increase compared to approximately 300,733 tons during the same period of the previous season. Additionally, campaigns have been launched to remove 31 cases of land encroachments on agricultural lands in their early stages, covering an area of one feddan and two kirata, in order to preserve the agricultural land. Moreover, efforts have been intensified to oversee and support the agricultural sector through the supply of fertilizers, continuous monitoring of corn and soy crops, ensuring sustainable agricultural production, and enhancing food security in the governorate.
