Workshop on Improving Public Health Project Budget Efficiency in Collaboration with WHO

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population organized a three-day workshop in collaboration with the World Health Organization to develop skills in planning and financing public health projects. The workshop aimed to unify concepts, enhance the capabilities of personnel involved in budgeting, and focus on program pricing and efficient resource management, all to support improving the quality of health planning and health economics. Its goal was to enable participants to apply cost analysis tools and develop program-based budgets to promote sustainability and efficiency in health expenditures. This initiative is part of the country's strategy to improve resource management in healthcare and support preventive programs to achieve sustainable health outcomes.
