Seizure of 2 Tons of Spoiled Candy at Unlicensed Factory in Gharbia

An unlicensed factory was raided in Tanta Center, Gharbia Governorate, which contained 2 tons of expired candies and sweets that were unsafe for human consumption. This operation was part of an extensive regulatory campaign carried out by the National Food Safety Authority in cooperation with the Supply Detective Department. The confiscated materials were seized and referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action. This effort is part of the provinces' ongoing initiatives to combat the distribution of food products that do not meet regulatory standards and to protect the safety of citizens.
