Zamalek defender Hossam Abdel Megid has transferred to Bulgarian club Ludogorets after passing the medical exam and signing the three-party contracts between the two clubs, valued at approximately 1.5 million euros, with the possibility of increasing by 1.25 million euros if Ludogorets participates in European competitions. The agreement also stipulates that Zamalek will receive 20% of any resale value and have priority rights to re-sign him if offers come from Egyptian clubs. Abdel Megid is scheduled to travel to Bulgaria soon to join the team’s training in preparation for the new season.
