Education Ministry teams with Sperex on attendance platform
The Egyptian Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Japanese "Spires" Foundation, plans to establish a national digital learning platform to monitor students' attendance and academic performance in an organized manner. The platform will be gradually implemented starting from the 2026/2027 academic year at the level of educational administrations, with the aim of improving educational monitoring processes, providing up-to-date data for decision-making, and enhancing the quality of education by tracking performance indicators and enabling early interventions when needed. This step is part of the ministry's digital development efforts to transform the education system and improve its efficiency.
