CAF Announces New Details on African Nations League
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced progress in the upcoming African Nations League project, which is scheduled to be launched in 2029 with the participation of all African national federations. The matches will be held annually during FIFA-approved international breaks. This project aims to enhance the appeal of football on the continent and to generate greater commercial benefits for the member associations. It is part of CAF's strategy to develop international football. Additionally, CAF is currently considering the possibility of launching a women's under-17 version, with competitions set to begin next year once the necessary requirements are met.
