2 million smart meters legalized in electricity sector

It has been announced that approximately two million pre-paid meters have been converted to legal meters by the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, bringing the total number of pre-paid meters installed so far to around 8 million. This transformation provides greater oversight and efficiency in electricity consumption, helps reduce instances of payment evasion, and enhances the company's financial collection.
