President Sisi orders beach access review

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed the formation of a committee from the relevant state agencies to monitor the situation on Egyptian beaches and ensure citizens' freedom to access them. This comes within the framework of implementing laws and regulations that prohibit establishing facilities or conducting activities within 200 meters of the shoreline without prior approval, aiming to organize tourism activities and protect citizens' right to reach the beaches. It was also emphasized that these decisions must be enforced strictly to guarantee citizens' rights and to organize the optimal use of coastal resources.
