An article discussing Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to digitize Egypt's artistic and cultural archives, with the aim of preserving the nation's artistic heritage, which has been subjected to theft and decay over time. The initiative involves digitizing more than one million audio and visual recordings, totaling 800,000 hours, using the latest technologies and artificial intelligence to create secure and well-organized digital databases. It also includes upgrading Maspero studios and the technological infrastructure to safeguard the audio-visual heritage dating back to the Radio Law of 1926, and to create reliable digital content for future generations. Furthermore, the project emphasizes expanding its application across national institutions, newspapers, and private media.
