Al-Alamein Hotel Residents Warn of Fire Risk
Reports indicate that residents of Alamein Residence Hotel in Marassi are experiencing a lack of normal access to their homes due to restrictions imposed by the project management. They now have to enter through the garage instead of the original entrances. The residents have expressed concerns that these measures pose a safety risk, especially in emergencies such as fires, as it becomes difficult for them to evacuate quickly or reach ambulance services, infringing on their right to safe and natural movement. A civil protection committee has been sent to assess the situation and ensure that evacuation routes meet safety standards. Meanwhile, the residents are demanding the opening of clear entrances and exits to guarantee their safety. The project management remains reserved about making changes at this stage, leaving the situation unresolved until the inspection and evaluation are complete.
