General Guidance Authority boosts advocacy in August
The General Administration of Guidance continued its religious and scientific activities throughout August 2026 with the aim of expanding the scope of religious and educational initiatives, focusing on border areas and the most in need. During the week, 81 meetings were organized as part of the Cultural Week activities in Cairo, along with 625 scientific seminars in border directorates from Mersa Matruh to Suez. Additionally, more than 2,000 fixed pulpits were operated, along with 3,192 lessons for imams, 383 scientific councils, and 89 lessons for female preachers. The activities also targeted children and youth, with over 20,000 summer activities and 1,065 youth caravans, in addition to awareness and health programs, including 616 reproductive health seminars and 100 seminars in culture palaces.
