Mansoura Club has decided to award an excellence bonus to the players following the sanctions imposed by the Football Association on the team due to their withdrawal from the Varko match. This decision came as a response to their objection to a goal that was not awarded in their favor. Additionally, the club has shouldered all the financial fines resulting from the withdrawal, with the club president confirming that the board members will pay them out of their own pockets. The sanctions included a deduction of 3 points, a monetary fine of 40,000 Egyptian pounds, and an additional 10,000 pounds for collective profanity, along with fines imposed on several club staff members. The club president indicated that they are continuing their efforts to protect the club's rights and are working on establishing a second-division clubs' association and a professional league.
