The Minya Endowments Directorate announced the launch of Quranic storytelling sessions in 120 mosques as part of a plan covering 20 administrative regions, aiming to enhance memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran. The sessions are held after Asr prayer, with the participation of 40 imams. The association plans to increase the frequency of these sessions to ensure better retention and correction of recitations. Participating children emphasized that a single session is not enough and highlighted the need to repeat them weekly. The initiative aims to improve pronunciation, reinforce memorization, and encourage children to attend the storytelling sessions regularly.
