A judicial ruling from the Administrative Court of Al-Gharbia confirmed that the student's possession of earphones during the exam does not constitute proof of cheating. The verdict nullified the decision of the Minister of Education to ban the student from exams for the entire year and to announce his results, after it was established that the student possessed earphones and a receiving card, but it was not proven that he used them or attempted to cheat. The ruling clarified that punishment must be based on conclusive certainty, and that possession of tools is not necessarily related to actual cheating. This reinforces the principle that a student should not be punished unless there is clear evidence of the actual use of the tool.
