Hossam Hassan extends Egypt coaching deal
Hossam Hassan's contract as the head coach of the Egyptian national team has been renewed until 2030, in accordance with the decision of the Egyptian Football Association's board of directors. The aim is to secure technical stability for the team and pave the way for continued work in line with the set objectives. Prominent officials from the federation attended the signing ceremony, alongside Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan. This step reflects the federation's keenness to strengthen the stability of the coaching staff in preparation for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will feature 48 teams participating in a tournament hosted by three countries (Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania) starting from June 2027. The qualification system will be based on a ranking of 12 groups, each comprising four teams.
