The Egyptian Minister of Health discussed with a delegation from Philips Global the enhancement of cooperation and the localization of advanced medical device manufacturing in Egypt. An agreement was reached to establish the company's first factory outside of the Netherlands in two phases: the first for assembling devices, and the second for fully manufacturing CT scanners and surgical imaging devices. The two sides also discussed providing the first-of-its-kind spectral CT scan device in Africa and the Middle East, distinguished by its high accuracy in diagnosing vascular diseases and tumors. Additionally, plans were made to establish stroke treatment units in collaboration with InVEST International Foundation to strengthen the healthcare system.
