Government to unify labor and training data
The efforts of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Planning have focused on strengthening cooperation to develop a comprehensive labor market database and to link training programs with the needs of both local and global job markets. The goal is to support employment and achieve sustainable economic development. The two sides emphasized the importance of continuous coordination to improve employment policies and to enhance the vocational training system, thereby increasing employment opportunities, improving the productivity of Egyptian workers, and boosting the competitiveness of the national economy. Indicators show that these efforts have led to continuous improvements in employment metrics, with a focus on youth qualification and supporting the private sector to achieve stability in the labor market.
