Exam format insights for 2026-2027
The Ministry of Education and Training has stated that the circulating message regarding the specification of essay and objective question percentages in the 2026/2027 academic year's exams is fabricated and without any basis. The ministry confirmed that there will be no changes to the exam specifications for elementary and middle school levels, and that the claimed percentages (80% essay and 20% objective) are incorrect. Concerning the secondary school and baccalaureate exams, the ministry clarified that starting from the new academic year, a system of 50% multiple-choice questions and 50% essay questions will be implemented. All the rumors about new decisions are false, and it is advised to rely solely on official sources.
